An interesting and provocative piece out on Politico.com discussing last night's debate: "Place the gravity of the moment next to the blah-blah-blah artifice of the rhetoric and overall insubstantiality of the evening, and this is what you get: The worst presidential debate ever."
This is a stronger version of our overall lack of satisfaction with the debate performance by both candidates. It's worth a read.

I've seen better high school debates than these two. What I saw were two egotisitcal blow hards who wouldn't give the public the answers we're looking for. Instead of showing what they are made of, they wasted everyone's time and money with a school yard taunt "I'm better than you are because I think I am".
